About the event
Through the support of many attendees, such as yourselves, as well as some very generous donors, we raised an incredible $10,640 for our Student Leadership Award (SLA) fund!
This past Spring applications for the 2025 SLAs were sent to all 12 Etobicoke high schools inviting students planning to attend either college or university for the 2025-26 school year to apply for a 2025 award.
We’re very proud to announce that out of many applications received, four graduating students were selected, and will each receive a $2,000 award towards their tuition!
When asked about these students, Laurence Boucher, Team Lead for the Awards Committee stated, “What stood out the most was the commitment to serve and the impact of each one in the lives of their fellow Etobicoke residents.”
