On Sunday, December 14th, the residents of Markland Wood have a tradition of collecting non-perishable food items and clothing for distribution to several charities in Toronto by travelling the streets of Markland Wood.

About the event
This year marks the 58th year of Christmas Caravan!
The Caravan usually consists of a Police sound vehicle, a bright red Fire Truck, a transport truck, to sort and pack the food, and dozens of cheery elves and, of course, Santa!
Calling all Santa's Helpers!!! As we resume our 'original' Christmas Caravan format, we need some Santa's helpers! Join us as we walk the streets of Markland Wood helping collect donations of non-perishable food items, new unwrapped toys to Stuff a Cruiser, and donations to the Santa Claus Fund. Dress for the weather and add a festive touch (Elf or Santa hat)
Shift 1: 9am-12pm North side of Bloor St (meet at the Markland Wood Mall). Volunteer Lunch at 12:15pm
Shift 2: 1pm-4pm South side of Bloor St (meet at St. Clement's Church parking lot)
