President's Update

Hello!

And the countdown begins.....to what you ask? To the start of summer (finally), to the end of another school year, to the day when my new puppy does his business outside. Yes, that’s right, we are dog owners as of four weeks ago and I must say I am still in denial! Archie is his name, and he is a cute little Yorkie. Stay tuned for more doggie enthusiasm in September...

On May 4th, Millwood Junior School celebrated their 50th Anniversary and from the sounds of it, it was a huge success. Over 600 people attended and our very own Bob Cooke was there challenging the audience with some historical Markland Wood trivia.

Although a little on the cooler side, our Annual Garage Sale took place on May 25th and as usual, the streets of Markland Wood were buzzing with deals and bargain hunters.
