Have you noticed the budding trees? The blooming bulbs? The greener grass? Spring is no longer in the air...it is here! I anticipate summer within a week. Only a true Canadian can appreciate my sarcasm!
Here are a few dates to look forward to this month: On May 4th, Millwood Junior School will celebrate their 50th Anniversary. For more information, please visit our website at www.marklandwood.org. Victoria Day weekend is always the perfect time to prepare for our Annual Community Garage Sale, which will take place on May 25th. People come from all over the city to find those great deals sitting on our driveways! If you’ve never participated, it is very easy. The MWHA takes care of the advertising and all you have to do is sell your stuff. Simple!
