"The MHA Social Committee facilitates organized community social activities on behalf of the Markland Homeowner’s Association.  The Markland Wood signature event is the annual Champagne Social, held on the last Friday of September at the Markland Wood Country Club. "

"The Champagne Social is usually held on the last Friday of September at the Markland Wood Country Club.  In 2005, the event had 'The Bullets' band and once again Marklanders rose to the occasion with a SELL OUT!  The  Champagne Social  has a friendly ‘house party’ feel and includes hot hors d’ouevres, dancing and door prizes.   A good time is had by all!  Many thanks to the ladies on the committee who help us out.   Here are some photos from 2005."
