President's Update

Anna Schaefer

Greetings!

Summer vacation seems to get shorter and shorter each year, doesn’t it? Especially when summer never really gets here, weather-wise! Oh well, maybe next year? Fall colours will be here before we know it as the children settle into another year of school. The City will be installing a new “flashing” sign on Bloor Street close to St. Clement Catholic School in order to calm the speeding at certain times of the day. The speed zone will be dropped to 40km/hr at key times of the day when the students are crossing Bloor Street. This is long overdue. I cannot tell you how many drivers have run red lights whilst our children are crossing. Look out for the new sign and be advised that the new speed zone will highly enforced.
