Markland Wood | Community Established in 1960

President's Update

Georgina Balascas

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas... especially in Markland Wood!

The lights are up, wreaths are hung on the doors, Christmas trees are decorated and shining in many front windows! This is truly a wondrous season of beauty, joy and excitement!

Each year, Markland Wood residents have an opportunity to share the spirit of Christmas with others who may not be as fortunate through our annual Christmas Caravan.  On Sunday December 14th, we will be making our way through the community to pick up your non-perishable food or gently used clothing.  You may leave them on your porch and our wonderful volunteers will pick them up.  We would love you to join us if you can.  Please meet us at the Markland Plaza at 8:45a.m. that morning and join Santa’s merry band!
